In response to the British Red Cross brief, I designed my outcome so that it brings attention to the dangerous journey each migrant goes through as they attempt to cross the Sahara desert. My aim was to try and communicate the perils they faced at a lesser known part of the journey. The Sahara is one of the most desolate places on earth, it’s hard to get any aid and support to the most remote parts. By visualising the deaths in this way, I hoped to bring attention to the areas which may need it most, opening up future opportunities for refugee camps, medical access and frequent patrols to reach those in need.
